Some Christian leaders in the Volta Region have proclaimed that 2023 would be a better year for Ghana, as compared to 2022, when the country experienced unprecedented economic hardship.

They mentioned these when thousands of Christians converged at various places of worship and crusade grounds to usher in the new year.

It was a night of prayers, worship and praise for the Lord for guiding them through 2022 and keeping them alive.

They exalted the Lord for his guidance through the economic hardship in the country and unprecedented high inflation.

He assured that Ghana would not experience any difficulty as prophesied by some preachers who have predicted doom in 2023.

“I can assure you and the nation that, Ghana is covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, and nothing will disturb this country. This country will bounce back and life will be normal for Ghanaians”, he said.

Dr. Bishop Eleblu implored Christians to seek God’s intervention in times of difficulty and counselled non-believers to give their life to Christ to grant them eternal salvation.

The Leader of the El-Bethel Prayer Centre of the Church of Pentecost, Ho-Area, Elder Seth Yaw Peasah.

The Leader of the El-Bethel Prayer Centre of the Church of Pentecost, Ho-Area, Elder Seth Yaw Peasah, emphasised God would restore whatever the citizenry had lost in the past year in bountiful folds.

He emphasised that the country would witness progress, and encouraged Christians to continue keeping faith in the Lord.

“People may see differently because we are different people but we are operating from another level. And I say this thing on authority that after waiting on the Lord for many weeks, the Lord specifically spoke to me that we should announce to the nation, announce to the citizenry both Christians and non-Christians that whatever anyone had lost, The Lord is going to restore.

Then he gave us a way out, as to how to achieve this thing. And the simplest thing he told us was that those who give to Him will sail through. Difficulties will come but they will overcome every one of them”, he explained.

He stressed that there are brighter days ahead for the country adding that “He [God] would do things in an unusual way for people to know that it is the finger of God”.

The congregants sealed the crossover services with praises and dance. It was a memorable night for the believers.
