2022 was a rollercoaster year for many companies in the country due to the challenging economic situation that prevailed.
For those who stood on their feet and saw the dawn of 2023, it is another opportunity to leave a mark in the sands of time despite any challenges that may be thrown their way.
The Multimedia Group Limited is not excepted, for which reason its staff and stakeholders joined hands to acknowledge the goodness of God upon the company inspite of the challenges experienced in 2022.
The company also used the platform to pray for successful growth as we kick-start the year 2023.
The 2023 Kick-off Prayer and Thanksgiving Praise Feast took place at the Victory International Bible Church Prophetic Sanctuary in Kokomlemle on Friday, January 13.
Dressed either in all-white attire or the Multimedia Group’s fabric, the jubilant employees praised God and danced to song ministration by the Multimedia Choir and other gospel artistes.
Gospel musician Perez Musik led the staff to lift their voices in unison to glorify God.
Speaking at the gathering, the Chief Executive Officer of the Group, Mr. Kwasi Twum said the company has come thus far by the grace of God.
He said that the event was organised to instill in the employees, an attitude of praise and thanksgiving to God.
“We organised this event and the monthly thanksgiving events to instill in us an attitude of praise. If you have an attitude of praise, when there’s a casting down by men, God will ensure that there’s a lifting up.
“So this attitude is instilled in us to ensure that whether Kwasi is around or not, this institution will have Christ at Work.
“When you look at what we have accomplished over the years, it is not the doing of men, it is not the doing of our network, it is not the doing of our creativity, of our strength, of our education, it must be only one thing, truly Christ is at Work”, he said.
The General Overseer of Victory International Bible Church, Prophetic Sanctuary in Kokomlemle, Bishop Emmanuel Ackun shared words of encouragement and affirmation with the staff.
He seized the opportunity to express his gratitude and to praise the company, especially the CEO for establishing an organization which has impacted and transformed lives in the country.
Bishop Ackun charged staff of The Multimedia Group to stay on the path of fostering peace in their reportage of national discourse.
“This country is in a very challenging time and moving towards 2024, we need media houses which are mature, experienced who have also gone through some thick and thin and come out better,” he said.
He continued that times like these need “balanced media houses like Multimedia to guide and inform this nation to sustain the peace we are enjoying.”
