American rapper Meek Mill is finally making his way to Africa, specifically Ghana, after years of expressing interest.
The rapper is set to perform at the 2022 AfroNation concert to be held in December 2022.
Revealing the new line up months ahead of the show, the organisers took to social media to make the announcement.
“#ANG2022 Phase 2 Line-up! @MeekMill and @asakemusik have been added to the line-up and we can’t wait to see them take to our stage this December!” They wrote.
Other artistes on the line up include Davido, Stonebwoy, P-Square, Rema, Black Sherif, CKay, Gyakie, Camidoh, KiDi, Asake and many others.

This comes barely a month after Meek Mill told fans on social media that he would like to perform in Africa before the year ends. He, however, did not specify which part of the continent he would like to visit.
I’m tryna come to Africa this December also … the first time I got locked up …. The other times didn’t fully get worked out! Who is the biggest promoters handling that! I need to perform dreams and nightmares in Africa! And all my other ish!

Earlier in the year, he also tweeted about travelling to different places including Africa.
In 2020, he had the support of social media users when he made an unexpected announcement about buying a house in Ghana.
The award-winning hip-hop artiste expressed his interest in buying a property in Ghana as he would not want to “dedicate my whole life to the American lifestyle I been living.”
According to him, the move will help him “feel that experience with my family as another option in life!”
