Mr Muhammed Yakubu, a businessman, has donated 12 motorbikes to the Kwabre East National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Executives through the regional office.

The gesture is to help the constituency to intensify campaigns towards the 2024 Parliamentary and presidential elections.

The motorbikes were presented to Mr. Isham Alhassan, the Ashanti Regional Organiser of the NDC by Alhaji Moro, on behalf of Alhaji Muhammed Yakubu, at the party’s constituency office at Mamponteng.

Alhaji Moro explained that Mr. Yakubu had earlier on donated about 2,000 T-Shirts to the constituency to ensure that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) embarks on an effective and efficient campaign in a bid to capture the Kwabre East seat.

Mr. Isham Alhassan, who received the motorbikes on behalf of the Regional Executives expressed the party’s profound gratitude to Muhammed Yakubu for the kind gesture.

He said the party needed more resources for grassroots campaigns to enable them canvas more votes come December 7, 2024.

He cautioned the Constituency Executives against discrimination in the sharing of the motorbikes to ensure that the motorbikes are used for the intended purpose.

Alhaji Kufulu Ibrahim, the Constituency Chairman, commended the donor for providing the motorbikes at the right time.

He disclosed that there are about 45 communities, 31 electoral areas and 280 polling stations and believe that the motorbikes would go a long way in prosecuting the agenda of winning the Kwabre East Constituency and the presidential elections.
