The 1994 year group of Ejisu Senior High Technical School has donated 104 mono desks to their Alma mater, to help improve teaching and learning.

Mr. Annor Frimpong, President of the group, explained at the presentation ceremony that they left the school 30 years ago, but decided to come and support, on realising that the situation in the school was not conducive for teaching and learning.

According to him, two students sit on a mono desk, which pushed them to embark on the furniture project to ensure that conditions improve.

Madam Grace Asomani, the Headmistress of the school, who received the furniture on behalf of the staff and management of the school, expressed the school’s profound gratitude to the 1994 year group for the kind gesture.

She pleaded with other old students from the school to emulate the shining example of the 1994 year group to contribute and support the school in terms of infrastructure because the school is left behind in terms of infrastructural facilities and other logistics.

She appealed to stakeholders through the government to support the school with Boys and Girls dormitories, School Bus and Teacher bungalows to house most of them on campus, as only three teachers were then housed on the campus.
