A global entrepreneurship summit to train youth in entrepreneurship skills has been opened at the National Theatre in Accra.
The program which was organized by the Malaysian-based entrepreneurship organization, Global 28 Credentials of Entrepreneur (28COE) brought entrepreneurs and business executives from across the world.
It also had speakers such as Seth Adjei Baah, CEO of Shaba Enterprise and former MP for Nkawkaw, Dr Prince Kofi Kludjeson, Chairman of the Volta Business Forum.
This edition which is the first to be held in Africa was aimed at molding aspiring entrepreneurs to network, brand and leverage.
Speaking the during the programme, the Country Representative of the organisation, Dr Victoria Esinu Vitashie charged young entrepreneurs to take advantage of technology to advance their cause.
She, however, cited an example where people engage in certain activities that end them wasting time and resources.
Concerning the Ghana’s economic crisis, Dr Esinu Vitashie said it is true times are hard so people should prepare adequately in order to overcome the challenges of the time.
According to her, there is always an opportunity in every difficult situation such as Covid-19 and the global economic crisis so Ghanaians go the extra mile in everything they are doing to make them stay ahead.
Government should change its ideology to turn around things to create an enabling environment for investors.
She said the organization is a network of investors and entrepreneurs around the world.
Dr Vitashie urged government to review some of the policies that have the potential to bring economic hardship to Ghanaians.
She disclosed that 28COE was a dynamic organization that is supported through collaboration with in the global community adding that is the largest community of entrepreneurs and professionals across more than 85 countries.
The Founder of 28 Credentials Of Entrepreneurs, Bilal Ahmad Bhat who was overwhelmed by the natural resources Ghana has expressed his organization’s readiness invest in Ghana through mentorship and education.
“We are here to help those young entrepreneurs who need our support to take their business to the global market”
He noted that 28COE is a global platform for those who are seeking opportunities to grow their business and brands globally.
Mr Ahmad said his organization will guide, mentor and set up many start ups in colleges and universities to seek young talents who are into farming and teach them to become good farmers and produce best crops and package them for global market.
To achieve this objective the organization will establish a platform known as Global Ghanaian Chamber to put Ghanaian businesses on that platform to give them .
