Flood victims at Tetegu and Weija in the Mallam-Gbawe municipality of the Greater Accra Region are calling on the authorities to speed up efforts to provide some relief to them.
The victims have been hit by a devastating flood as a result of the spillage of water from the Weija dam by the Ghana Water Company Limited.
For the past 3 days, hundreds of residents have been rendered homeless.
While some of the affected persons have been housed in church auditoriums and class rooms, others are sleeping in kiosks.
