Prefos Limited has rewarded 20 employees who excelled in their performance at various departments of the company in 2022.
The awards marked the 32nd Anniversary of the establishment of Prefos Limited as part of a week-long Prayer, Fasting and Thanksgiving Service in Kumasi.
The theme was: “The Hand of God”.
The 20 awardees were drawn from the Administration, Transport, Electrical departments of the company in the Northern and Southern sectors of operation.
Mr. Edward Tweneboa Kodua emerged the Overall Best Administrative Officer for the Southern Sector and took home GH¢60,000 as his prize, while Ernest Dapong received GH¢50,000 as the Overall Best Electrician.
Mr. Richmond Cudjoe also won GH¢60,000 for being the Overall Best Administrative Officer in the Northern Sector, with Lamin Kamal getting GH¢50,000 as the Overall Best Electrician in the Northern Sector.
Other award winners were Yaw Appiah, Overall Best Driver, who received a GH¢50,000 cash prize (Northern Sector) and Kwame Nti Antwi, Overall Best Driver from the Southern Sector, who received GH¢50,000.
In a related development, the management of Prefos Limited has donated an unspecified amount of money and relief items, including detergents, soap, toilet rolls, brooms, and scrubbing brushes to the Government Hospital at Old Tafo in Kumasi.
Mrs. Philomena Owusu Ansah, General Manager (Human Resources), presented the items to the hospital at the weekend, after the staff embarked on a clean-up exercise at the health facility.
The donation formed part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility.
